If you feel a bit off colour
Or are feeling really ill,
There's a very simple answer,
Just take one little pill.
It's the answer to all ailments
You'll be as fit as a fiddle
And it doesn't cost the earth
(Currently 16p in Lidl).

Chorus:
"Ibuprofen is the answer"
Sqad will always sing
And if by chance it doesn't work
Give NHS Direct a ring.

If you have a headache
It will soon restore your smiles.
You can even mix it to a paste
And rub it on your piles.
If you feel like death warmed up
Sing "I don't give a damn
Because I know I can be cured
With 600 microgram."

Chorus:
"Ibuprofen is the answer"
Sqad will always sing
And if it doesn't work
Give NHS Direct a ring

From tennis elbow to a corn
Diahorrea to constipation
Ibuprofen is the answer
To medical salvation.
Food poisoning from seafood
From an oyster or a clam?
No problem, just remember
Take 600 microgram.

Chorus:
"Ibuprofen is the answer"
Sqad will always sing.
And if it doesn't work
Give NHS Direct a ring.

Question Author
Thank you, thank you. I think Messrs Dylan, Cohen etc have nothing to fear.

I stand corrected by Sqad's superior knowledge of doseage
Take no notice mrs o, he's being picky lol.
hi Tone..could be better...dad hopefully on the mend...he is bright today..mum not too good though..taking a toll on her !got to stay positive though....have you fed those goats ?
Dear Mrs O, I am going to a get together where funny original poems will be read or songs sung. I notice you have copyright on this little ditty. May I have your permission to recite it on the night? I will of course remove Sqad's name and substitute another. Many thanks.
Very good!

I may as well confess as I don't think Mrs O has seen it - http://www.theanswerb...uestion1176548-2.html

Me too Mrs O - like Maggie I would love to recite it to my ladies group at church, who are always full of their ailments!
Seriously I am sitting here feeling so upset this morning as we have some family problems at the moment, I am so worried I have a huge headache and have hardly slept going over and over in my mind what I can to do to help. You have made me smile again, you are an angel, bless you and thanks :))
Question Author
Ann, I am so sorry to hear of you problems. I hope they are sorted soon. If there is anything I can do to help, please shout up. xx

Anything we can do Ann - if not least act as a counterfoil for you to wail at, perhaps help shape some thoughts, obviously another thread. I am heading out in a few minutes but will be on and off in about 45 minutes. f you want to keep it more personal, then my temporary e-mail ,using nungate's name in vain, is still active, [email protected]
Just loved ones splitting up and one left with nothing to eat, feed or clothe 3 beautiful children. I'm not exaggerating as I don't hold with sob stories but this one has totally floored me and I am devastated at the turn of events. Thanks for your sympathy, I'm doing everything I can to help them, but sadly it is their decision and I must stand by them.
