contraceptive coil problems

Hi all, I had the non-hormonal coil fitted about 10 months ago but just recently I've been getting pains so bad that sometimes I have to stop whatever im doing and curl up in pain. I had it checked recently but they said everything was ok....they just said the pain is the price you pay for non-hormonal device?? Is this normal?? Plus I was reading about the coil online and they said its not really for women who haven't had children yet (I haven't) and now im worried about infertility? Is there a chance I would never be able to have kids??? Help please! Thankyoooou x

I am not an expert but........pelvic and/or abdominal cramps are not unusual with IUD (hormonal and non hormonal).

No, this will not affect you ability to have kids when it is removed.
