Laura, you are so open and honest, have to applaud you on this link, it was well put together, and I hope it will reach someone that needs it/benefits from it, I think for someone so into herself, you are great to speak about how and who you are, I'd never have guessed listening to your music that you suffered so much and forget or ignore the negative feedback, as hc said you are beautiful, you sound fantastic, great clarity in your voice too :)

sir alec it took me years to get there and belive it or not i hate getting a picture taken but im in control of the filming and i can hide the physical things i dislike by being in control. its very important to me to stand up for ppl with mental health issues because lets face it not enough ppl do! xx

For some people (me included) the real enemy is the one inside your head.
Living with demons or wonky thought patterns is not easy. Nobody can see your daily fight and just how truly horrendous any sort of mental health problem can be.
I didn't watch your video (I am 'freaked out' enough just now) but I understand how debilitating any mental health illness can be. You understand what is happening - that is usually a good place to start.

Do people actually tell you that you are ugly?
Since junior school, I've been mercilessly bullied for the crime of being ugly, always by males. I wish I'd been born a lesbian as no woman has ever thought me ugly. The bullying still goes on today from adult men, who are just cruel. I rarely leave the house as I know that when I meet someone in the street, they are thinking how ugly I am. Some have said so. They think they are clever, not knowing how crushing their 'clever' remarks are.
If I looked like you, I would be happy.

sir alec yes i have been told on numerous times that im ugly, this video im hiding the things that make me look like a monster, i have alot of make up on so this isent reallt a true picture of what i look like but i couldent show what ruins my life, rosacea my face swells my nose and cheeks go bright red spotty and ppl always stare its awful! so yeah i know how u feel!

Lauratwentyeight, you need to contact your GP's office and ask to be put in touch with a skin specialist. You don't have to live with roseacea unnecessarily these days.

well that's heartbreaking to read sir.alec, because in all my life I've never met an ugly person by features, but i sure have seen and heard ugly people by their way of thinking and if I seen you, I'm sure I would never consider you or Laura ugly....you've no seen me either lol

no they are wrong sir alec! they are small minded blinded by the demands the image set upon us by modern soiciety plus there just horrible ppl thats all! i can pretty much sayu that what u said before that u would be happy if u looked like me, well i walk about looking at ppl all day thinking the exact same thing! x
