Woman increasing liquid intake

Sherrardk's question got me thinking.

Some time ago there was a question on here from a woman who had been advised by GP to radically increase her liquid intake. Did she ever come back?

My stepmother's GP told her to increase her fluid intake. He commented that most elderly people do not drink enough.
