Getting rid of those annoying little bobbly blisters on fingers

Anyone found a good way of getting rid of them?

They don't hurt or itch or anything, get them on and off but after the blisters have come out for a while the skin over them all starts peeling off which looks horrible and takes a while to heal.

Any ideas how to stop it getting to that stage?

I don't want to use anything too greasy as my skin on my hands looks quite shiny in places anyway, mainly my fingers, (assume maybe from inflammation) and preferably nothing too stingy as I handle so much paper at work I tend to get little paper cuts and my skin is quite tight and seems to get little splits easily over my fingers, again I assume with the inflammation.

Any advise to stop me looking all flakey welcome (the swelling is enough!).

Jenna, it could be pompholyx http://www.patient.co.uk/health/Pompholyx.htm

I used to get these a lot but only from time to time - it was thought at one time it could be hormonal. No itching but annoying.

Looks like it Boxtops, thanks. Yep, not painful, just annoying and unsightly when the skin starts going all flakey and peeling off. I've not noticed them for a while now, I was thinking maybe with the weather going hotter though can't remember what it was like when I had them last.
