teeth whitening

my teeth are being whitened on the weekend and ive been told i canonly have a white diet for 24 hours.
What does that mean?

Anything without colour. It's to stop your teeth staining after treatment. Maybe it makes you teeth more porous for the first 24 hours.

Ummm is right so white fish, egg white, rice, potatoes,milk, chicken also avoid fizzy drinks even if they are clear as they are all acidic

The problem is, I don't like white food.
I don't like white bread, potatoes. I like fish, but only fish fingers. I like chicken, but not on it's own.
I do like white pasta, but with tomato and basil sauce.

Ben and Jerry's do a great ice cream called baked alaska it is white ice cream, white mallow and white chocolate polar bears I could live on that for a day quite happily

I'm not paying for it. My friend runs a beauty clinic and I'm exchanging my teeth for a publicity shot for her website. Lets hope she knows what she's doing!

I don't like white sauce, it makes me gag. I definitely do like Ben & jerry's though! :-)

I whiten my teeth now by leaving them overnight in a glass of water with a Steradent tablet.

I have had mine whitened a few times. I just drank water and ate chicken. It's only for 24 hours.

To the couple who've already had it done... does it hurt? I have sensitive teeth.

Is it laser whitening? I`ve had that done. I was told not to have anything such as red wine, tea, coffee etc ( anything with tannins). That advice goes for any time after the whitening though - not just in the immediate aftermath. I didn`t take much notice (I can`t live without tea) but it would be wise to retrain for 24 hours.
