jam doughnuts are a no-no in case the jam gets on Nora's new carpets.
The rest of us can have at least one, and there a a few with cream in too.
I've planked the gin for Craft's personal use.

just tea please...Redman's bought custard tarts for dessert and I want to do them justice
Did I miss the cheese scones yesterday???
Question Author
ooh Rowan, you're letting the side down. I'm sure your home-made custard tarts would be tastier that shop-bought.
Nice to see you, another month closer to retirement ! xx

Cheese scones just out the oven Eccles xx Did you bring the chutney?
Does apple and date suit you?
Question Author
Never tried apple and date, but sounds delicious, so yes please, a generous spoonful if you don't mind x
I'm on my way, you can keep the rest of the jar if it's to your liking.
Ive got some fresh salted butter for the cheese scones
Got any tea cakes?
Question Author
I am not being ladylike at all, slevvering at the thought of the chutney. At least I'm level headed, it's from each corner.

'Ello Smow, tuck in x
And very delicious they are too!
I'm on my way with a couple of limes :-)
I've just had a Lemongrass and Ginger Lucozade (very nice) and a Crunchie - that should give me a sugar rush!
Question Author
Be careful of the limes, the can make you trip over a kerb or stairs.

Must keep me eyes peeled for lemongrass and ginger lucozade, the orange flavour was a step too far imo, but I'm liking the sound of that tho Boxy x
I just have a black coffee thanks Albs. xx

(Chicken Casserole in oven as we speak.)
It's v nice alba, it says Lucozade Revive on the label. Agree, the orange one was vile.
Question Author
I'll be with you at 6 Nora, if that's OK? Love Chick casserole when someone else cooks it :-)

Black coffee eh? Mr Nora is going to have a peaceful night !!

Cheers Boxy, I'll keep me eyes peeled and get the younger Albas to have a look too.
But ... tea at 3 is early ... not late.
It depends what time you have your lunch, JJ....
Question Author
JJ a pint of gin (for a certain lady) a mug of horlicks (for another) coffer and a cuppa tea for the rest of us mere mortals :-)

Have you got shot of the gunky paperwork?
Well lunch could be any time from 11 until 3.

But surely tea would be around 4 ?
