Met a guy online and all seemed really well. last night he then told me he wouldn't be deleting any of his online dating profiles because he 'cant remember the passwords' (online three days ago) and he doesn't use them, and wont use them now we have met. All three profiles online are profiles he is paying for too. I don't get why he is wanting to keep them, especially since its costing him £35 a month? If he is not using them why not delete?

Should I get rid of this one now? or am I being silly? Honest opinions wanted.

Not sure, if you are supposed to be "exclusive" i think you will knowmifnhe is seeing other girls, and if you dont want to....then get rid!

Xx
in this circumstance you can suspend - not delete - anyway!

is he hedging his bets maybe?

i met my hubby on dating direct, although i found out he went to school with my cousin AFTER we met! and she married my schoolfriend too!
I have friends on sites, who have now met someone not from the site, months and months down the kine who would never dream of cheating ever, but still log in, especially at nightshifts etc, and chat away to folk- no flirting or funny business....

He was upfront about it i suppose, but if it makes you unhappy or insecure then finish it cxxxx

ye I guess your right in that sense, he did tell me about it.
xxxx
You know really, don't you.

Im unsure if i am being too silly over it all. x
A while ago that would have annoyed me, but i just think if he is going to cheat for instance, he will anyway, so dont waste time worrying. Just you keep your profile still though! If you, want to that is!?

I agree that id beva bit :0/why hes still paying monthly xx
maybe keep YOUR options open too?

have you met anyone esle recently?
No not being silly, cant help the way u feel! Xx
Sorry, I'm confused. You say on-line 3 days ago. How long have you known this man?
Question Author
ye I dont get why he is paying for something he claims he wont use, when you can go back to being a normal free member and not pay. I've been messed about by guys so I do find it hard to trust. Unsure what to do or what to think about it all x

known him 4 weeks, near 5 xx
trust your gut instinct!

Wow, ready to get rid of him on the sayso of a few online strangers?

What would he think if he seen how quick you want to get rid of him?
I fully understand where he's coming from as i myself kept my profiles opened when using dating sites even when things got serious as you never really knew whether you was going to end up single again, so keeping hi profile is probably because he's insecure and and also saves going through the whole process if his relationship goes boobs up and after reading your replies i don't blame the poor guy.
I don't think 4 weeks is long enough to get to know someone or to put your trust in them. I wouldn't worry about him keeping his on-line dating profiles. Just carry on seeing him, have a good time - and see how it goes.

Hor - Thats fair enough really, I wanted peoples opinions. I wouldn't be basing my decision on the views of others, I merely wanted to know if I were being silly over this.
I think you're getting too serious too soon.
Yeah just try not to worry about it. You cant controll what he does, not that im saying you want to, i just mean dont worry about it.

Xxx
