afaik - drinking in moderation is ok with antibiotics and there are not normally any side effects, the problem is that heavier than normal drinking interferes with the antibiotic's effectiveness.

you mean if i keep going to diff docs i'll eventually find one who will prescribe cakes and wine?
amoxicillin ok

flagyl (metronidazole) not
DR Chuck is at your service for a modest fee.
Question Author
can i pay you in cake?
As long as it isn't something like Metronidazole, you should be okay to drink in moderation.
Oi, missus! check my flipping link; there's two you mustn't drink with: Metronidazole and Tinidazole.
Question Author

Taking the pee will be the least of your worries after a couple of pints if amoxicillin does to you what it does to me ;)
