Hi chirpy, most snoring problems are due to weight or tonsil issues (regular tonsilitis etc) but you could always get some of them nose clips that open the nostrils. The sleeping position is often a factor also

They say sewing a tennis ball to the back of his pyjamas helps.

I only wear boxers, so I just get thumped.

Snoring is a symptom which has a cause which needs seeking.
It could be a nasal problem, problem of the soft palate or may be a problem of obesity.
See your GP with the prospect of referral to an ENT Surgeon.

As a baby my son snored, people would look in the pram to see if it really was a baby'
At 5 years he has his face x-rayed and the docs were shocked as his airways in his face (dont know name) were almost shut, so they removed his adanoydes (cant spell it).
As he grew older we could always hear him through the wall when he would sometimes stop and we would say "oh he has turn over".
Now he is older and his girlfriend has told us that he does'nt stop snoring he stops breathing and so he must have done this as a child while sleeping in his own room.
My hubby gets earplugs for the girlfriend because it is really loud.
I would love to know if mouth guards work, I also think he should tell his doctor.
His girlfriend says he only stops breathing for a tiny bit....
