Does anyone know why the chemist's advise again taking the Canestan tablet when someone is over 60 years old.
Thank you.

Didn't know they did.
I didn't know that masma, but it's under 16s as well, I can only assume that it's to do with hormones and secretions. Internet says you shouldn't take it over 60 without medical advice, so if it's prescribed them presumably it's OK.
I assume that you mean vaginal tablets.....no idea.

I get them prescribed for oral thrush due to my steroid inhalers.
Just wondered that's all - thanks anyway x
