Dizzyness during exercise

Hi there
I have started to suffer with bad dizzyness during exercise. I am rather fit, have a balanced diet and make sure I drink enough before and during exercise. So what do you think maybe causing it?

What do you drink? The problem could be a low blood sugar level due to your increase in glycogen uptake during exercise.
Try those "special drinks"......energy drinks.
i sometimes get it too, i cycle a lot, and i agree with sqad,
it can be quite bad, i've been really dizzy at at times, i found a banana dipped in sugar cured it quickly, luckily if you have some, but i use a drink called iso energy i get it in powder form from holland and barret, and make it up meself, cheapest and most handy way, i find after drinking it i can cycle harder and longer too....its just sugar and salt...but works

I usually drink Lucozade during a workout which helps. Im usuall fine when im doing running or cycling its just when I switch to using weights I get very light headed and faint. I will have a look out for the Iso energy powder though. Thanks for your help!
Check your salt intake- if you are being too vigorous about cutting it out, it can cause precisely those symptoms of dizziness.
YOu sweat during exercise, which contains sodium, drinking replaces the actual fluid, but you need to ensure your sodium levels stay stable.
Try a sports drink that has sodium as well as sugars during/after exercise.

Too much salt is bad, but too little is also a problem!
