my 3 year old has very dry and bittle hair that's extremely thin and has always been this way. I have tried vitamins and conditoners and many diffirent shampoo's but nothing seems to help. Each time i put her hair up in a pony tail and i take out the bobble at the end of the day i seem to pull out an excessive amount of hair is there anything that you can recommend?

you're damaging it with the hair "bobbles". use soft scrunchie type things, or headbands, or leave it down.. be gentle!

if it's very wispy it probably needs cutting.
You could try gentle natural treatments like olive oil and making sure she has a good diet and getting all her vitamins and minerals naturally.

A good cut may help to make things better as well as regular trims.

Be careful when brushing and use a gentle detanging shampoo and use a wide detangling comb gently whenever it is wet (never use a brush on wet hair) and when dry, use a very gentle brush.

You can get leave in conditioners which you can spray on a brush and comb to get it through the hair, Boots and the Body shop should do some nice natural ones.

As Sara said, try using less harsh bobbles or leave her hair down.
