Holland and Barratt are usually a good buy - they often have them on offer.

Yes they do but I went in today and they weren't on offer.
Nuts:-(
My Dr told me it was god for breast soreness but I've been taking it for years and they still get really painful.
Oh well.

Some people swear by EP preparations, whereas others find them useless. They're supposed to have anti-inflamatory properties, and to help with cramps, etc., but they contain acids which can just as easily be absorbed by foodstuff which's rich in a natural omega source.
Sleepyj - I'd imagine that most of the brand names contain the same things, so buying the most expensive isn't necessarily the best.

i agree with icemaiden. i started taking them for pms and breast tenderness and they didn't do a thing to help. i took the largest recommended daily dose and carried on taking them for about 4 years thinking that even if they didn't do much good at least they weren't doing any harm.
try boots if they're on 3 for 2, they usually work out the best value.

i used to take EP as was prescribed by my gp, i was eventually refered to a breast specialist. when i told her i was taking EP she said forget it, its useless for breast pain. give it to your dog it will make his coat shiny!! thats all its good for.

I used to take evening primrose and found it didn't work. The last few months I have been taking WellWoman, I find it helps with everything and its all in one tablet

I take one evening primrose capsule a day for pmt and it has really helped me. I buy it from Boots or Asda or Tesco, wherever I happen to be (or who has it on offer!).
