Psoriasis

Has anyone found any new creams or herbal remedies for this annoying skin disorder. I've had it now for ten years and the only thing that has worked is heat treatment at the hospital. But they won't allow me to do this again because the risk of skin cancer. dovabet steroid cream is about the best thing but I don't like using it because it's so strong.

Appreciate any ideas

Many Thanks

Hi jayjam
I have had psoriasis for 32 years and i am covered in it. The only thing that works for me is the light treatment but sadly, the very day after i finish the treatment it comes back..........and every time it comes back worse.
The Dovobet ointment is very good but as soon as i stop using it, the psoriasis comes back. I just can't win !
I bought a UVB light off the internet for £399 and I just do my arms but I use it sensibly as I am scared of skin cancer.
Do you find that yours is food related ? Mine is definately worse when i have had mushrooms.

www.phbhealthcare.com

once on the website scroll down to the bottom and click on UVB treatment.
I have used lots of the creams that pussnboots mentioned but they are very expensive. At £20 for 60g it would only last me a day.

Have Your Say

Should the over 70's be made to retake their driving test?

Yes. The new licence should have to be renewed every 2 or 5 years.

Yes, but the new license should be permanent.

Yes, but only if they have been in an accident.

No.
