skull fracture

Does anybody have any idea how long it takes an adult male to recover from a skull fracture ( no brain damage or anything, just a hairline fracture of the skull.) Not for me, for a friend.

What do you mean by "recover" and which bone or part of the skull was fractured and was your friend unconscious due to the trauma?

I'm not sure which part it was, but he had a deep gash on his forehead, and the doctors said that the fracture was round about there... any help?? and yes, he was knocked unconcious, he was in a coma for 7 days before he woke up. hes got no brain damage or anything though.
