hey. went to the beach today. i THOUGHT id put cream everywhere that would burn. but stupidly forgot my feet and the top outside of my arm and now im bright red in those areas. it really stings and is so uncomfortable. iv applied 6-7 thick layers of atrixo moisturising cream but its burning and i will have to sleep like it. just wondered if anyone knew how to make it feel better or if theres anything better to use? xxxx

Make a paste of bicarbonate of soda with water and apply.

Or try aloe vera gel.

Or good old calamine lotion.

First of all cool the burnt areas right down with an ice pack- frozen peas will do. :)

You are right to keep moisturising. Aspirin or paracetomol can help with the pain.
Ethel, you know everything! : )

ha yes she answered both my questions.
If you have some Lavender oil handy - the stuff used for massage not the one specifically for oil burners - a couple of drops spread on the burnt bits will help
Youghart will help as well.
