I know this is a very specific question but here it goes.I have just been for a walk in some new shoes I bought and my feet as a result are now covered in sores(not blisters). The skin has peeled away at the side and my ankle. I tried to put a plaster on it but they are the wrong shape for my kind of would. Is there such a thing as a toe plaster? Or are there any plasters that would be the right shape. Thanks xxx

can you not now get spray on plasters by elastoplast that should solve that problem
take a walk to the chemist and look.
or use the spray
im sorry to hear you have sores on your feet, you could cut a plaster to fit the affected area,
Yes there are- either go to Boots and ask or buy a long roll of plaster and cut out a shape that suits!
Ouch! You can get 15 cm (approx) dressings from Tesco or Boots that you can cut to fit, plus some "surgical" tape called micropore (Tesco & Boots do their own version). Not too expensive and sticks much better than plasters, plus micropore stays on in the bath/shower.
mind and take it off before you go to work tho.

thank you very much. Yes I saw some of that micro tape in the cupboard but I thought it was white selotape! I've put that on at the moment so we'll see how it goes. Thanks again xxx
Are these shoes walking shoes or fashion shoes? You said yesterday you bought wedges from R&B, wedges are not walking shoes.
Are they leather outer but synthetic lining? If so you may be allergic to the lining. But if you have walked any distance in them in the heat we have had today it is probably your own fault for making a silly mistake. Don't do it again, if you have to go for a walk, wear the appropriate footwear. Consider yourself told and next time don't be so daft.

hehe cockney si I wouldn't wear them for my funeral! I'm confident they will be fine for when I'm going on a date and hardly have to walk but silly me couldn't wait to try them out so went o a 3 mile walk with them!
as you do.......
Question Author
Thank You dotty point taken! They are synthetic shoes-suede I think.t's hard to find "sensible" shoes to wear with a summer dress though isn't it?
yes they do things which are usually for corns but do the same job, just tubular dressing. If not try salt (sorry, I cant resist) lol

Question Author
The way I've written that last sentence makes it look like there's a book called "I've changed my way now". Still I've never been very academic!
