what if any is the difference between processed peas and marrowfat peas i know they are proccessed but what is the difference

If I remember rightly the marrowfat peas have little or no sugar content and not (so) mushy as processed peas. Or is it the opposite...
Processed peas means they've been subject to heat treatment to prevent them from spoiling. Marrowfat peas are a particular type of pea of which there are several varietal variations - so Marrowfat and Garden Peas can both end up as 'processed'
