Good morning, emmie. I went out today to do a little shopping, but no plans to go out Wednesday. It's still hovering around -20, and we got an extra 6" of snow Tuesday so I'll do a little hibernating and do some cleaning/tidying up around the apartment.
i have been unable to get out due to the pain, and so am confined to home, until i can get my MRI scan which could be weeks away - no idea how i am supposed to get to a hospital.
no one i know drives now, friends that is and relatives all live 70 odd miles away, so unless i can find hospital patient transport which might be an option then most likely a taxi. But getting in one is a problem as the knee won't bend without acute pain, it's a problem i am just going to have to face i guess.
Yes, people do mention the cliche that there are lots more people worse off; however, when it's you having problems, those "lots of other people" are irrelevant.
I have been catching up with some tv shows, one i have seen before, Line of Duty, but it's been worth a second viewing. I have binged watched 4 series now on the final leg so to speak. Don't suppose you have it there...
About the only time I watch TV is from 8-10pm when a couple of my favourite programmes are on. And no, I'm not what some people call a "TV snob." I much prefer to read which turns on the TV in my mind:)
i have had a spate of reading lately but have nothing new to read, though i had thought of buying a Daphne Du Maurier book Frenchman's creek, which looks to be a good read.
