Since Sir Alec never said "May the force be with you", I have to iterate his actual phrase:

"Remember Ken4155, the force will be with you...always".

The young Obi Wan, Ewan McGregor DID say the famous phrase, so I imagine in old age, as Sir Alec, he'd either tired of it or grown out of it - "Those bloody Sand People, always asking me to say it and wanting selfies"!
Maybe that's why he'd become a hermit on a dump like Tatooine?
