Best to phone 111. He might need a tetanus jab.
He's probably OK, but a tetanus shot might be recommended by his GP.
Assuming it's broken the skin I presume you have cleaned the area - is there a minor injuries unit at your nearest hospital?
I would visit doctor on Monday morning to make sure he needs nothing more than tetanus jab, but I have no medical training.
Wow, he wasn't called Dangermouse for nothing.
I don't think I've ever heard of someone being bitten by a mouse. First time for everything.
I wouldn't be concerned if it was a pet but if it was a wild one I would check on the NHS website.

I know from experience that cat bites are nasty but they have long pointed teeth.
I’ve been bitten by a mouse a few times (trying to rescue them) but the skin wasn’t broken - the minor injuries unit would be my first port of call if it was.
...but I don’t think they are anywhere as toxic as cat bites
Because of some of the work I do, my tetanus is always up to date.
are you a rodent wrangler, TonyV?

Anyway, here's a worst-case scenario (by someone trying to sell you traps)

I don't think tetanus is a risk. I got a deep dog bite some time ago, trying to separate two fighting dogs. Everyone advised me to see a GP for tetanus... but he said that everyone born after WW2 already would be covered for lifetime, and it wasn't necessary.
However, he did give me a course of antibiotics, as animal bites are notoriously dirty.
I never knew tetanus (lockjaw) came from faeces either... I had always heard it was something to do with rusty nails etc.
no jno but some "vermin" I will always try to trap and release to a natural habitat rather than poison them.
Been bitten by hamsters, teeth like needles - run under cold tap to get them to release their jaws.
Testanus is a soil-born organism. You're far more like to get infected by it when you graze your knuckles gardening than when being bitten by a mouse (or, indeed, by anything else).

People get bitten by dogs, cats, mice, ferrets, etc every day but we don't seem to hear about them contracting anything nasty from such bites. If the wound shows obvious signs of infection (such as feeling hot and tender) it will be time to seek out some antibiotics. Otherwise ignore it.

Been there, done that! Ferrets have got sharp teeth too!
My OH got bitten by a rat or mouse. I can't tell the difference. The cat brought it in. He was checking it to make sure it wasn't visibly injured, didn't appear to be, then it bit him :-)

He done nothing bar wash the wound, and there was a small amount of blood.

Our rabbit bit my son and my son still has the scar. Again just cleaned it.
I don't know how true it is but a doctor told me in A&E that the most dangerous bite wounds come from other humans.
I was bitten by a rat once, I didn’t let him bite me twice.
No I’ll effects apart from blood and pain.
