Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. The weekend beckons. I'm at the hospice this evening for the Solstice Walk, I'm not walking, I'm one of the marshals. I'm good at bossing people about! :o} It is really a good, fun event, with a serious side. There is food and drink for all when they finish, much socialising is done too. Lots of money is raised for the wonderful services the hospice provides for anyone, and their families, who need it. The Hospice at Home Service is a wonderful innovation. It provides a hospice nurse matched to the family to stay with them in their home until everything is organised at the end.

Tiggy has been out on the prowl all night, he came back about an hour ago. I'm sure he had a smirk on his clock! :o}

The charter yesterday went very well, we knew most of them as they are volunteers for the trust, they man the Stroud visitor centre, so we all had a good day of it.

Hope it's fine weather for the Solstice Walk Boaty, it's a good feeling to give back to something that is of benefit.

Hmm, now Tiggy has his own private pad who knows what may happen ;-).

Afternoon oz. Yes, I enjoy doing my bit mate. I can't do the walk so I do some marshalling, seeing the walkers safely across the main road. Local drivers are aware of the event and are very good at being patient. We don't send out too many walkers together, so drivers are not held up for long.

Well, young Master Oz didn't win "Trainee of the year NSW" last Friday, but he ended up in the top four. It would have been the impromptu speech that all four were called upon to give that he struggled with. Not a limelight sort of person.
Top four out of thousands, we are very proud!!!

You won't believe this!
I slept with the window open last night....it was a warm night......when suddenly.....in the early hours.....that's anything before ten for me.....the curtains flew apart and in leapt a man.....

All dressed in black........a Fedora hat over long blonde hair and a mask over his eyes....

He gave me a smacking great kiss......left a box of Milk Tray on my pillow and in one leap was out the window again......

Said you wouldn't believe me!.......;-)
