Saturday....early...woke up can't get back to sleep, pterydactyles will be along soon...still dark but looks dry...bit to do in the garden and want to steam clean couches today....Will be pooped after waking so early.....hope you all have a great day xxxx

Morning minty, you are an early bird !! Please what are these 'pterodactyls' which disturb your slumbers ? We don't have them ( whatever they are) down our way so please enlighten !!

Morning seek xxx...pterydactyles are the large crows and rooks that live in nearby trees, when they wake and start flying around they make so much noise they sound like prehistoric monsters !! ..what time is it with you ?

Thought it might be some of the wildlife, but then you never know !!

Here it's just coming up to 1.00pm and were thinking about lunch .... Something warm for sure !! The weather 's been pretty bleak the past few weeks down under, and Melbourne's usually worse than us

We're in Adelaide, well the southern suburbs, close to the beach, but our daughter has lived in Melbourne for the past 20 years so we get down there fairly often.

You have family in Melbourne, don't you ? I thought I remember reading that you did - how do they like it there ?

My brother is in Melbourne at the moment but is in the throes of moving to Calgary Canada. He likes oz but it's his job that has him going all over, he's an architect.

Gosh he'll find Calgary colder than Melbourne I should imagine,but then if its work then no choice, but what a way to see the world

Morning minty xxxc ans afternoon seekz xxx We have the pterodactyls here too, but they know better then to kick up a row! I've just spent the last half hour watching my hedgehog going about his lawful occasions. Having sorted out what he could find in my garden, (where he lives) he's gone on to my neighbour to see off the cat food she puts out for him. He's better than watching the idiot box! :o}

Well, let's say its under way. He started yesterday, you know what it's like moving house for the first time. He has a lot of learning to do! He knows that mum, dad and me are on the end of the phone.

Does he cook ?

The hedgehog is second generation. His mum used to live in the old shed. :o} I don't see many slugs or snails. He lives in a big flower pot that's on it's side in the lavender bushes.

Oh yes, he cooks. I taught him! :o}

I meant to ask you, do you want the potato soup with bacon and chives recipe I mentioned? It will soon become a firm favourite I promise! :o}
