carlton 23 has not posted since the end of October and i feel that he has died.

I do not want to go further into the New Year without carlton receiving some sort of AB recognition.

He suffered a terminal and painful illness for at least 2 years, but always contributed to the threads on AB. He wasn't a member of any "group", not a member of the AB email subculture, he wasn't a smart@rse or confrontational poster, but just the mainstay of AB....he was always there.

Many Abers have passed without recognition and this may well happen to all of us, but i will not allow this to happen to carlton.

R.I.P carlton and thank you from my heart to the contributions that you have made to AB.

I always enjoyed reading Carlton's posts. It is sad if he has died but I would like to think he maybe just got bored of AB and is having a break :)

I was wondering about Carlton myself not long ago. I'd like to wish / hope that you are wrong....but yes-every member who dies needs a salute from us.

I liked him I often wondered if he was alright. He was very ill, and sadly it was only a matter of time. If he has died may he rest in peace.

If this is the case Squad then I add my heartfelt sorrow to the list of people already mourning Bill, but I have had a very thorough snoop about and there are no obituary notices or deceased estate notices for him in any of the regional papers for his area, so one lives in great hope that, as Ummm says, his computer is simply broken. Either way he's a great chap and I really hope all is well with him.

I am also a fellow Bournemouthian and I have been wondering about him for a while. I do admit I have feared the worse knowing he was in a bad way health wise. I do hope it's just his technology that has let him down and not his health.
I would like to wish him peace wherever he may be resting.

From his posts it did appear that he was very much at the 'end stage' but he was by his posts a really lovely man and I hope if as I suspect you are right then he had an easy passing
