Ache in kidneys

Ive had an ache today in the left side kidney area I feel ok in myself but wondering if it's worth making an appointment with gp or wait for a day or two to see if it goes away

Yes makes sense also saves sitting in that overcrowded waiting room to see the doctor which I dread
Are you drinking at least 2 litres of liquid a day?
It is possible for one kidney to act up before the other (due to lack of fluids).

A few years ago my boss was complaining that he was suffering from aching kidneys – I asked him the same question, to which he replied that he was consuming no where near that amount. Once he started taking more liquids the pain subsided within a very short time.

Hymie I drink quite a lot of liquids water, tea, juices I'm beginning to wonder if the ache is to high to be my kidneys and now wonder if it could be my lung
