I spent 11 hours going between clinics and hospitals. And everyone seems at a loss. I'm going to the doctors later, although I'm not quite sure what to say.

I have been having sex without protection with my husband for around 6 months. My last period occurred on the 3rd of June, and only lasted for a few days and was extremely light. Compared to my usual period which is absolute agony and exceptionally heavy (Sorry if TMI!).

After my period was over I started having strong period like cramps on the lower right hand side of my abdomen, along with feeling very faint, sick and with a temperature. This yesterday became a very severe stabbing pain on and off. I originally went to see my doctor to try and get an appointment, but they wouldn't see me. So went to an NHS walk in centre, they took a pregnancy test which was negative. They then advised that I should have a full testing at a Sexual health services clinic. So I went there, they did tests(which the swabs came back negative for STDs) the doctor there consulted his supervisor and they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy and that I needed to go to A&E straight away.

So I went to A&E they did lots of blood and urine tests and didn't find anything. Just told me to go home with strong painkillers and come back if it got worse or had any other symptoms.

I am still feeling very unwell today, and although it sounds silly, I simply 'don't feel right'.

To top it off, the painkillers I was perscribed (diclofenac) have caused stomach pain too (I regularly suffer with gastritis like symptoms). So now I feel even worse!

I just wondered if anyone else might have any ideas, or anything I should be asking my doctor about?

Thank you!

Sqad. I am not convinced that it is ovulation pain... As I have regularly had ovulation pain and it is not the same pain as my usual pain, plus I always have it on cycle day 15. This started on day 8?
That period on June 3rd was not a NORMAL period and hence the pain that you got, could well have been mid-cycle.

Mittelschmertz can vary in time, intensity and duration.........that Chocolat is my best guess, particularly if vaginal/pelvic examination was normal.

Doctor said that she didn't want to try anything that might aggravate my condition anymore. So has given me more painkillers (codiene) and ranitidine for my gastritis. And just said that if the pain gets worse to go back to A&E.
Right.
