Am I Pregnant?

Well here goes, me and my BF had intercourse - around 6 days later I had some spotting (thought I had come on my period but it only lasted about half a day). Now I am a couple of days late for my period. I have been having constant cramps and a heavy / uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. I took a test this morning and it was negative, I am confused?? Has anyone had any similar experiences? I will try and test again in a couple of days if my period does not come but I dont know what else to do, I am losing sleep over this. My period is never normally late.

stress ( about being pregnant ) can delay menstruation.

I am not using contraception and I would not mind being pregnant, it is as good a time as any. I smoke and if I knew I was I would quit straight away but not until I know. I have still not come on my period = very late now

why not until you know. If you want a baby it is better to give up now than when pregnant as it will put stress on baby. Test in a week x
