So the Beckhams are proud parents of a baby girl today, congratulations.
But have they lost the plot? how can both parents agree on the poor mites name... Wait for it... she'll be called *Harper Seven*
The mind boggles.

My colleague's husband said to her this moring "The Beckhams have called their daughter Half Past Seven".

She shot out of bed, thinking she was late up....

I dont think harper is a bad name tbh, I have seen worse, what about other famous offspring? rumor, scout, willow,peaches, fifi trixibelle, tigerlily ect ect...

Awful name. With all the lovely names there are for girls they have to pick something like that. Poor little mite, fancy having to live with that....Still, I suppose it takes all sorts!!!!

Harper's nice. There's Harper Lee, as jth says. Paul Simon's son is called Harper - ok, he's a boy but it is one of those unisex names.

I think the last thing you could call this child would be 'poor' or 'unfortunate' just because of her name... Plus, the Beckham's do seem to be good parents and whe your dad is David Beckham, I don't think that many people are going to be interested in your name! (Plus having 3 older brothers should ensure the pee isn't taken out of her too much!)

Ridiculous name, more so the seven in my opinion but then when you're that rich they won't care as all the children and their strange names will be taken care of by money, you could call them late for their tea and no one will give a jot because of who they are.
