And it's not cos I'm kneeling down too much.... ;-)
After running on a treadmill (only for a minuet or two at a time cos I'm new to running), I find for the next few days my knees really ache. I've got new trainers (MBTs), try to have a good technique (ball of foot down first rather than heel) and have used knee supports - neoprene thingys.

How can I avoid knee injuries and pain?

I had visions of you somehow coming across the poison penner and giving him a hefty knee in the @"*&'s.
A Glasgow kiss is much more refined.
Why do you think that you are going to get knee injuries?

Ibuprofen will ease the pain.

Take the advice of your trainer.

BTW I AM IN THE LIBRARY....

Because sqad, I just do. Injuries are inevitable with me. Should I carry on running through the pain or just power walk?

salla...no, if you are in pain....then stop.

Graduate the increase in exercise.

Bummer.
You can't get more gradual that a minute at a time though can you? One minut run, two minutes walk - that's what I'm doing. Pathetic - I shouldn't be getting pain after that surely?
salla...well you are....so accept it.

Are you meant to run in MBTs? I thought they were for walking in, like fit-flops.
