Yeah,I often wonder why I am me and not someone else, and why some people seem to have terrible lives and other people charmed lives (not always because of the sort of people the re either).
What I do notice I do is sometimes is when I'm doing something thinking one day there will be an occasion when it will be last time I do this, like making a cup of tea for instance and wondering what the circumstances of my last cup of tea will be, or what the weather will be like on my last day on earth. Not in a morbid way though, more in a sort of instantaneous epiphany of something and then it's gone. Like all at once things are supremely important down to the last detail and at the same time not at all important in the big scheme of things.
I do think life is fairly pointless if we look objectively, so Ronnie Barker probably has it right:)

Actually it's not a morbid thought when I have it though Zacs, it doesn't make me depressed or anything, I just wondered if anyone else had anything similar, because it is interesting, I mean what is the point of the whole universe? There probably inst one ( unless you are religious), which make us equally unimportant- I find that quite liberating.
