I'm due to have my haircut on Thursday and I need to do something with my fringe. At present its blended in with my hair, in the past it has been swept to one side. But I really don't know what to do with it this time and I don't know what my hairdresser will do. I don't like my fringe but at the same time I don't like NOT having one. Can anybody point me in the direction of something nice that I can do something with
I'm not sure trigger. I have a longish forehead (if that makes sense) and I can be a bit self conscious about it. But I will have a look and see if it might :)
I've a cow's lick, so when I was little mum had me wear a straight fringe which looked blooming silly.
The 'fringe' is now swept to one side, and a side parting.
Exercise caution. I recently had a crazy trainee hairdresser cut my fringe much too short - which is impossible to hide. He also cut too much extra hair to fringe length so now I am clipping back the excess to grow it out.
(Never had a problem with a trainee before but this was somewhere I had not been to and he was passed on my number and called me. He was completely unsupervised - disaster)
Provided you watch what is happening and that you are happy with length - depth etc then go ahead. Growing out is a long process.
I had a straight fringe as a nipper suited me then, then I grew up and wanted it gone. Now I'm at the point where I want something but not what i'm used to haha
I'm sorry to hear about your experience grasscarp I can assure you I will be in safe hands, my hairdresser has been doing my hair since I was young and he's done my mums for a LONG time so I trust him.
I don't want it too short haha nor do I want to emphasise my forehead too much LOL
I always liked Claudia Winkleman's fringe, maybe too heavy for you QoM or try curtains (a bit either side).
My hairdresser always cut mine a bit short and straight across it drove me mad, now I have it a bit longer to one side.
currently sitting on google with phone in hand taking piccies to show him. I was slightly aware of it Alba.
AYG I used to have curtains, drove me mad, I used to have the straight across job as a child, at present its trained to go to one side but its so long now its blended in with my natural hair! Trying to find it is a menace
Off on my holidays soon and although I don't like to wear a lot of foundation at the best of times, so when my face has a bit of a tan I would like to put some kind of makeup on in the evening but not sure what to use nothing to heavy any suggestions please
