I have an audition for a theatre school and I'm unsure of one thing - in my monologue my character is talking directly to someone - do I imagine my other character or look at the panel? I'm unsure of what is more professional! thanks!

My gut feeling would be to address an imaginary character: only address the panel if your character is addressing the audience (they wouldn't see that viewpoint otherwise, if you see what I mean). I am an actor incidentally!
