Does anyone know if you can buy the original illustrations to pre school children's books?
I have a two-year-old we read loads together. I thought it would be lovely if I could buy her an original illustration from one of her many books.

You could Google the name of the illustrator and see of they have an online shop, or if their works are held for sale in a gallery shop.

done that and got no where.
ring the publisher and ask? They probably own the images but may be prepared to sell them, or to pass on contact details of the illustrator so you can commission some of your own. As I understand it, artists are only to happy to sell their work.
Is there a particular illustrator or illusatration that you are looking for?
Hi, these aren't original illustations, but this company do lovely children's prints taken from artwork in books. I got the Rainbow Fish print years ago, and several old-style Winnie The Pooh "sketches". They look lovely in matching pine frames:

this gallery specialises in illustrations - especially old ones, but also handles more recent work, so you could give them a try
