i dont know if this should be under literature. i have put off reading the peter kay book "the sound of laughter" as i only read in bed and did'nt want to wake my wife with the chuckling. it's a good job that it's not sale or return. i think thats its rubbish. i packed it in after just 36 pages. i like to watch his stand up routine, but not this . should i give it another go?

I agree. Dunno what all the hype's about. Pretty ordinary. I gave up too.

I enjoyed it. It's not the sort of book to change your life, but it made me laugh out loud a few times.
