Good grief, he doesn't have clap too does he?
Not yet, he will after 1900 hrs...
Not yet... but I would. We had dancing on the doorstep last Sunday (to "reach" S Club 7 :-)). And one for children... last Thursday.
Getting a bit silly now.
What about a clap for all those who are suffering from the virus , also ?
Whack it on fb, bazile... that seems to rule everything at the moment x
While I fully understand clapping for frontline NHS workers and those maintaining essential supplies reach the shops, I do not understand why we are being asked to clap for the PM. I wish him a speedy recovery but I won't be clapping for him.
Ken - because he's the PM.
It was the EU countries that started the clapping, so I don't
think Boris would want to be associated with that.
The clapping is for NHS and all those who are helping with
the ill and the elderly.
Hope Boris gets well soon.
I found the clapping quite emotional. I am a wuss though.
What is this FB, to which you refer , pixie?
I understanf Clap (VD) can be nasty ! Why whish it on Boris ?

Not sure I want to do this as I do think it’s getting a bit silly and that’s not to say I’m not thinking of him at this awful time , I pray he recovers fully
Baz....facebook.

Unlike some I’ve seen Eddie, I wish for him a full recovery , maybe my wording was up for mirth?
I don't think it's silly. It raises peoples spirits. One of my sons is starting to get very emotional with the isolation. He's starting to pine for us.
Clapping for Boris devalues the heartfelt and sincere clapping for the NHS - whoever put this on Facebook needs to have a re-think. Although I'm no fan of Boris, I wish him well but definitely not clapping for him.
if i'm out in the garden at all this evening, it'll be to witness the pink supermoon - as created by CV19 virus particles agitated by 5G radiation...…. allegedly :-)
Yes I also find the clapping emotional.
I had to go out this morning early and came back home
to find two litre of milk on my door step, so thoughtful.
I have found out who left it, a neighbour who I only know
to nod to. so thoughtful of him.

I’ll happily go out and clap our key workers each Thursday but I feel it could devalue our thoughts and prayers if too often ( like twice a week)
