One bliss is not enough for tonight's performance of Antony and Cleopatra.....
Ralph Fiennes was a brilliant and different Antony but the star is Sophie Okonedo as Cleopatra...I have seen many Cleopatras but she is by far the best. I see many awards for her.
My very, very slight disappointment was Tim McMullan as Enobarbus but that may be because I have such a definite image of Enobarbus and he played it differently....
The slightly foppish Caesar....Tunji Kasmin.....was thrilling....in fact the whole cast was magnificent.
Another must see if you can......three and a half hours so take a cushion.... :-)
You'll think me an absolute libertine but yesterdays bliss was a bar (yes, a whole bar, no skinflints here Mrs…) of Fry's Orange Cream.
That avoids the peppermint/chocolate pitfall by having no peppermint in it.
Ha ha, that should keep you busy well into 2019! Came across my Mum's gloves yesterday in the bottom of my woollens drawer: felt strange to hold them, imagine the work involved and see her initials - EMH - she's put on the wrists.
If I had a mobile phone I'd put a photo up here. Ahhhh
