for my english literature coursework, i am doing an essay on an inspector calls. i am re-writing my 1st draft and i am wondering, how does the inspector in act 3, warn the audience that if they dont take note of the moral lessons of the play, then nobody will know how to take responsibilty of themselves and each other? thnx xx

I saw this play in New York and its impelling all the way through. I can't  give an exact answer about act 3 but the inspector plays each one of the characters off in turn so they all feel guilty as you know with all the twists and turns I think the audience would see this could happen to anyone in life and like the play when anything goes wrong they try to find a scapgoat. if you haven't seen the play its well worth a visit has been on recently on tour and is deep and at times a puzzle to follow.  i hope this may be of some use. good luck.
