Jo Nesbo

I've bought one of JN's book from a charity stall, it's The Redeemer, one of the Harry Hole series, should I read them in order or can I go ahead and read this one.

Ta for any replies.

I started with The Redeemer too. It's reasonably self contained.

If you like it (as I did) then you can work through the others from the beginning.

Great books
I love her books, Harry Hole is a great character. I'm reading The Hypnotist by Lars Kepler, if you like Nesbo you'll like this one
if you go to this website, scroll down and it gives books in order written and if they are a novel or a series.

I read the Snowman first, next I think it was called Robin Redbreast. I don't think you need to read them in order. Enjoy, let us know what you think of his writing.
actually i think nesbo is a bloke , i'm sure someone at work told me that
Jo is a bloke dotty.
yes i just remembered, when they first started appearing (once steg larsson arrived !) we all thought it was a female.
Question Author
Thank you to all, I've got some bedside reading now, haven't had a book for 2 weeks now, after I gave up that drivel 50 shades.
I started with The Snowman as had never heard of Jo Nesbo, and enjoyed it so much that I went to the first The Redbreast and then everyone since then. Have really enjoyed all of his books and apart from some of the personal issues you don't really miss much by reading out of order. I am sure you will go back and read all the previous ones.
Just read one ''The Redbreast'' found it good. Anyone know how Hole should be pronounced ?
Love John Nesbo read snowman first then redbreast. I would suggest reading redbreast before redeemer as there is a running theme regarding a certain character thru redbreast, devils star and redeemer.

Also saw today that the very first Harry Hole, The Bat, is finally being released in English.
