Thanks boxtops and emeritus it wasn't that one but it did put me on the right track. The one I was looking for was Sign Language, Travels in unfortunate English from readers of the Daily Telegraph
It's this one, then? Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
Puts me in mind of the parking signs for blue badgeholders, approved by the Department of Transport..."Accessible Parking". Where's the "Inaccessible Parking"? On top of Snowdon?
Or the sign in the window of a shop in Castle St, Belfast, 'Ears pierced while you wait.'
