Does anyone else feel ever so slightly awkward, having to click on ER II between the eyes in order to get back to the home page?!

He he he. Thanks for the tip boxy, I'm off to the homepage now, and now, and now, and now.............
(laughs) i was unaware that you can return to the home page by clicking on whatever design is in that top corner.
i'll try it now ... if you'll forgive me ma-am
line her up and fire, the anti-royalists on here will love it. Hate to think what else could be put there.
Didn't know you could do that. Ah, so much to learn, so little time.
do yourself a favour and use adblock to remove the image altogether

Aw no bibble, I enjoy Ed's adornments!
not all of them, just that one
i'm sure HRH won't mind.

She's an odd shade of puce on my screen - I think Ab Editor lifted the image from a stamp - surely there were better colours - no nice pinks?

I think you're right venator, it looks like the stamps of my youth - surely there is a "diamond" coloured one?!
Well - I didn't know you could do that! I have always used my back arrow - so I've learnt something this early in the morning, thanks! :)
From the Windsor Castle £1 black (the high value Castle series) and worth a small fortune, imagine cutting that up with a pair of scissors for putting on here........
something like this, Boxie? It's pretty close..

Shouldn't Queenie be Golden in honour of the Jubilee, come on Ed, rise to the occasion you stupid boy!! ;)
Just say "Sorry for clicking your fact ma'm".

She's from a stamp, so she's more used to having the back of her head licked.
Ann86 - it's the 1952 stamp.
Only Ab Editor in his wisdom can say , Dt

I think there was a gold version, but she'd probably have come out a bit jaundiced looking on screen?
Question Author
erm Ed, I think you meant her royal "face"....

We are not amused, LOL.
O right Ed, I probably was a lickle bit young to remember it ....... how many people would look at it and say - yes I remember that, its the stamp from 1952!!!! seriously though, its a good idea, I'm loving all the commemoration at the moment, I live on memories :-)
Thanks Ab Editor for putting an end to the speculation!

The gold version wouldn't have been any better?
