Im reading an autobiography by Lisa maxwell

Shes in the bill and on loose women...

Got it as a gift- quite like autobiographys

Im enjoying it....but she refers to her looks alot? Im almost getting te feeling she is a bit of a "hit for herself" - but i cant remember her in the tv/media years ago as i was too young!?

Hmmm? Any comments? Read any good books or autobiographies?

Ps: she is a really pretty woman i think x
I love autobiographies. One of the funniest autobiographies Ive ever read was Ozzy Osbournes. Im currently reading Cherie Blairs book, Speaking For Myself.
Im not a fan of the Blairs by a long shot but I have to take my hat of to her for forging a life as a barrister in a world (then) dominated by men and coming from a poor back ground. She was also a bit of 'goer' when she was a student as well.

Was she like remarkably pretty? She is a good looking woman dont get me wrong but she refers to her looks ALOT and i was thinking was she some sort of sensation or something x
noooo lol, just an ordinary girl next door look, really. infact i think she looks better now than what she did, from what i can remember, anyway..!
I used to really like Michael Caine - then I read his autobiography. Talk about name dropping - came over as the big "I am" and I went right off him.
PS Loved Paul O'Grady's. Hilarious.
haven't read an autobiography in a long time, but my two favourite are Richard Branson's, some funny stories he has to tell.
Howard Marks
I love autobiographies. My next one on the list will be Mary Quant`s. There should be some good tales of the swinging 60s in that.
Russell Brand My Booky Wook
Lisa Maxwell was naturally very pretty, not varnished & enamelled like so many. She was certainly the looker in The Bill (Inspector Nixon).
Tom Baker (Doctor Who)'s autobiography is very funny, as you might expect, but has some sad bits....
I liked Stephen Frys first book. Very funny and quite revealing and surprising. Yet to read any of the further ones.

I recently read James Cordons because it had great reviews but I really didn't like it. I felt it wasn't at all a real look into his past and his memories of events were so vivid it felt like he had made it up. It was also extremely (gona spell this wrong) sicophantic. Everyone he met he thought was great or an inspiration. I felt a bit ripped off by it.
I've read Sharon Osbourne's...............what a dreadful woman.
