Im wondering if their IP was flagged and then banned, if that is the case it wouldnt be someone who had not been around for years, they would not set off gnome.

they never posted anything inflammatory so I can only assume it was auto IP banned

technically asking about where someone is is not classed as abusive, maybe to us we may feel that its insensitive , however gnome bans for a reason, if the poster was a genuine "old user" then their comments are not bannable, unless their IP has been flagged as part of the ban list maybe..?
