Press Ctrl on your keyboard and hold down whilst scrolling on your mouse. Or, if you are using a keypad on a laptop...Ctrl and (+) key

Then you are doing it wrong.

Press and keep your finger on the CTRL key in the bottom left of your keyboard, and while still holding it down press the + or - keys next to the 0 in the top right of your keyboard.
