* Many complained that Q&P is full of crossword questions
* Many complained that Crosswords is hard to find for new members
* Crosswords is the second biggest category on AB (and thus deserves top-level status)

How do you intend to persuade people to use the Crossword topic, though? E.g. if you look at this: http:// www.the answerb ...Ques tion117 3347.ht ml, even though the thread is in the wrong section, it has been answered correctly. As it stands, there is simply no need for anyone to use the Crosswords section for crossword questions.
As for mark's comment, it's the same point I suppose,as whether we should answer questions where posters don't provide the clue or details of letters. I prefer to offer an answer if I can (because I like to help and if I don't someone else will) and point out the lack of letters (or say it's the wrong section).
I suggest the Q&P guidelines need to be amended as they still include references to setting out crossword clues.
The Q&P page points out there is a separate Crosswords section but maybe that needs to be in larger text
