And isn`t it lovely to hear?
Little things that are precious... and so few would recognise it now
There don't seem to be many thrushes about these days. I saw one in the garden last week but it was chased away by a female blackbird.
That's lovely. Last year there was one in this area for the first time in many years. Some days he sat at the top of my robinia and sang from dawn til dusk...I really hope he found a mate and had a family.
still have them near me we are surrounded by a mix of parkland and fields but close to birmingham so they so start their song with afit of coughing
Just on my way for a bit of a twitch. Got a couple of red kites & a great grey shrike in the area....wish me luck.
Nice to see the Song Thrushes as they have been in decline in recent Years.
Always nice to hear them singing in the mornings as well
