Please does anyone have tried and tested recipes for home made dog treats? I do the dried liver ones, also tuna and garlic training treats. I just thought maybe someone here would have some other ideas. Many thanks.

Tuna and garlic? Is that the equivalent of ''No! Bad dog!'' ? ;-)
We use this one for our working dogs here in the western U.S.

Peanut Butter Treats
2 tablespoons corn oil
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine oil, peanut butter and water. Add Flour 1 cup at a time, then knead into firm dough. Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness and cut with small bone shaped cookie cutter (optional). Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Makes 2½ dozen.

All of the dogs like them...

You could always take them to the hotel in Atlanta where I stayed on Thursday night for a little treat. If guests staying with pets forget to take enough food there is room service for pets. Most meals more expensive than some adults one`s. Bow Wow Beef $19, Cat`s Mieow $17 Veggie Feast £$16. All served on a dinner tray. Plus $3.50 tray charge and 22% service.
