How can you tell the difference between frogspawn and toadspawn?

Frogspawn (european species) lay their spawn in large clumps. Toads lay their spawn in long strings. If it looks like a chain of beads its a toad. If it looks like someone has tipped a bowl of semolina into the water in one place, then its a frog.
