Anyone in South Wales area have a kitten needing a loving home, would be so grateful if you could let me know, not prepared to spend a fortune, just want to give a good home, and all the vet care needed, some folk are asking for £50 just for the kitten, before spaying, injections etc, at the end of the day I just want to have a kitten, no fancy breed!....................TIA

Asked the vet boxtops, they don't carry ads any more, and the cats protection league only have older cats at present!..............nothing against older cats, but we have grandchildren here and want them to grow to understand each other..........
Do yu have a cat bit in your local paper? we do, could you look there?

Sara!..................lol...................
...hold
you to that!............
welsh - i sold my kittens for £50 each, but only as a result of de-fleaing and worming them properly, getting them checked out at the vets, socialising, weaning and litter training them into lovely, healthy family pets. the good quality food, medication and equipment i bought made them worth the money i charged for them and when people came to view the animals, it was evient that this was the case. they were assured they came from a good home and were already loving, trained pets. my advice to you would be to approach local animal shelters to see if they have any available as there are always little tykes out there who need good homes (although you may be asked to provide a donation) or, if you have to spend money to get a kitten, make sure it comes from somebody like me who is knowledgable, caring and provides a clean home and well-tempered creatures. they will be worth the money if this is the case. good luck and i would love to see a picture when you do get a little rascal! x

We do have a cat section in the local paper Boxtops, but not much there at present, some folk are awking £50 - £100 for a normal cross bred cat!...............ridiculous!..........
If you go on Gumtree, you'll find lots there, people don't seem to bother having their cats neutered/spayed nowadays.
have you tried your local pet shop they usually have free ads in the window

whats gumtree????
www.gumtree.co.uk
just put in your town and look for stuff
Hi welsh I'm in s.wales too, we recently got a kitten through gumtree, we paid £30 for her. There were quite a few on there. Failing that, my mum works at the RSPCA in Newport, and they have quite a few kittens at the moment (I think she said 9). You would only have to pay £30 and the kitten would be chipped, neutered and vet checked - wish I'd got one from there.....now I'll have to pay the vet to neuter ours :(
you don't want a slightly older fat pyschotic cat do you???

ah well thought i'd ask
Are you mad? They grow up into cats you know..... ;-)
Hello
We generally only take in rescue cats. But the last one we got was a kitten and we paid for him - so glad I did, he was in such bad condition when we got him. How can people neglect animals?!

Gumtree is a good place to look - freeads website
I work for a cats rescue centre & we 'suggest' a £45 donation for our cats/kittens. They have been neautered, flead, wormed, microchipped & checked out by a vet.
Bleedin hell - I mention a cat, and that damn thing appears within minutes....
I told you it was stalking me..........
I think paying for the kitten shows a little good faith on how you will treat said kitten and if you will keep it.
