My uncle's wife's family are all like this.....it's brilliant.

I went to a pub and there was a large group of travellers who had been to a funeral. some of the women were wearing low slung jeans with "bitch" "babe" etc.. in glitter across the bum.. hysterical!

Travellers that i know let you know exactly where you stand with them, no backbiting, two face backstabbers like most of the folk that slate them!

I know alot, they give what they get. most are ok but you do get some that think they have to live up to some 'hard' reputation.

I hosted a Gypsy wedding at my hotel years ago, big gamble really, they were great! Spent lots of money, didn't cause any trouble, and even wanted to clean the room and wash up afterwards! they then came back in the evening and spent lots more money, caused no problems and couldn't thank me enough for the day! I then hosted the Christening about 10 months later, again they spent loads, caused no trouble! They became regulars in the bar, and were loyal customers for years until I retired, they always showed me the utmost respect, and I enjoyed their company, as did my other regulars......................
